The workshop

Meet the artists at work.

Alaska Art Alliance is a carving shop in downtown Anchorage. We give carving space to carvers from around the area, and carvers work daily — meet some of the artists as they demonstrate their craft.

Our workshop is a place where Alaska Native artists can work in a safe, sober environment to create art with an emphasis on culture and sobriety. It nurtures each artist's skills while providing a way to support themselves, with access to local resources, clothing, meals and showers.
